The Island of Summer (for families with kids of age 4 – 10)
It is an object theatre performance telling a story of a little girl, who spends the summer on a small island together with her grandmother and dad, who’s always busy. Their lives follow the rhythm of the island and run parallel to the presence of ghost forest, underwater world, various animals and birds, peaceful dreams about large cities and storms that come and go.
Authors describe the performance as an ecologic meditation awaking memories of the summer sun, holidays at the beach, wanderings through the forest and explorations of the nature and the world. The artistic team started rehearsals by walking along the sea shore and looking for washed out objects, which then were used to form the island and its live and imaginary inhabitants.
The performance is dedicated to adults and children who like to observe and analyse the diversity of things, and to notice the unusual in the world.

Paldies par satriecošo piedzīvojumu un ceļojumu bērnu dienu atmiņās! Izrādes laikā “atrastais” smaids ne par ko negribēja pazust no manas sejas vēl ilgi, jo ilgi..
