About the Moms (5+)

Why does my mom never listens to me?
Has my mom ever been a child?
Why doesn’t my mom know how to play?
These and many other questions fly in childrens’ heads.
This time all of these questions are transformed into an exciting theatre performance for children – “About The Moms’ ”.

During a birthday party two mothers – actress Zane Jancevska and Daiga Gaimiņa – do not find themselves sitting around a dinner table, but instead, together with the audience, tell interesting stories, remembering the time when computers and television were not present .
Why are these two moms playing with toys this time? Is the big birthday cake the reason for this?

This performance of the Latvian National Theatre presents the “child inside of the grown-ups” and encourages a common dialog among the grown-ups and the young.

The performance was awarded as the best performance for children and youth among the professional theatres, season 2008/2009.
